LANCER SECTION

THE ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION - Is coming to Lakewood from Washington D.C.!  If you are Asian or Pacific Islander, please come learn about scholarships that may be available for you.  All grades welcome.  Wednesday, May 22 at lunch in Room 817, bring your lunch.

PROTECT YOUR YEARBOOK! – Plastic covers available at the student store for $1.50 each.

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS – Available at the student store $2.50 each.  Come during passing period or before school only!

STUDENT STORE – Is looking for a few smart and honest student workers for next school year.  Get an application and try out.  Why not make some money, you’re here anyway!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO DROP YOUR FINANCIAL AID AWARD LETTERS OFF IN THE COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER - If you are a senior, you need to drop your financial aid letter off to the College and Career Center today.  If you don't have a copy with you, you can print out a copy in Room 332 from FAFSA or from your school, military branch, or apprenticeship program. 

KERYGMA CLUB RALLY – Come to the small gym at lunch on Wednesday, May 22nd to attend the Kerygma clubs rally.  There will be root beer floats and a guest speaker.

FOOTBALL TRYOUTS! - Want to join the Big Red Machine!?!?  Then come out to John T. Ford Stadium everyday after school.  Please report to Head Coach Jameison with your most recent report card showing your minimum 2.0 GPA.  For after school workouts you will need t-shirt, shorts, athletic shoes, and football cleats.  The practices will last 2-3 hours.  If you have questions please see Coach Murphy in Room 214.

LIBRARY BOOKS - Library Books: 9th, 10th and 11th grade student must return your library books by May 29th or pay for the lost book. Your schedule may be held during summer registration if you do not return your books.

 

CLUB SECTION

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS - The ATM Booster Club is selling Jamba Juice every Tuesday after school underneath the 900 building.  The cost is $4.  Come and have a treat to cool off during the hot afternoons!

 

SENIOR SECTION

SENIORS  - If you ordered announcements and have not picked them up come to the Banker's office with your ID.

SENIORS - If you ordered a panorama picture they have arrived.  Pick them up at the Banker's office.  Have your ID out and ready.

HAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR FAFSA?  - Seniors, if you are going to community college, you can still complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  If you need any help, bring your parents 2012 taxes to the College and Career Center so that you can get your FAFSA finished.

MOST COMMUNITY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN ONLINE - Seniors, almost all of our local community college applications are now open for Fall 2013.  Go to the school's website where you would like to attend and click on "Apply Online" either on their home page or the Admissions page.
