Those incoming freshmen who have made the commitment to take Accelerated English 1-2 next school year are required to complete the summer reading assignments and turn them in to whomever is their English teacher on the first day of school in September. If you are to be in the accelerated class, regardless of which SLC you're in, the two attached assignments are required.
It is up to you to obtain the two novels, The Call of the Wild and The Secret Life of Bees, in whichever manner best suits you--through personal purchase, library check-out or e-book downloads.
