The Pre-Fair Road to College Workshop will be on Saturday, September 22nd from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Rio Hondo Community College (3600 Workman Mill Road, Whittier).  This will be a supplement to the College Prep Fair on Saturday, September 29th at the Pasadena Convention Center.  This workshop is intended to have smaller, more intimate sessions about financial aid, the SAT and ACT, college in California and out-of-state, and a college plan that Latino students can follow to achieve their goals.  The Workshop is completely free and will be delivered in Spanish, but the slides will be in English. This will allow for an engaging bilingual session with parents.  In addition, attendees of the workshop will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship.  You can register at the link below.
