Mission Statement:
The mission of the HERO Academy is to provide high quality education in order to improve student performance and to prepare students to be positive, productive members of the work force and the community.

Values
HERO's values are responsibility, self-esteem, sociability, self-management, integrity.
Program Specific Pathways:
- Culinary Arts: Students pursuing Culinary Arts take Foods Nutrition. This pathwya students prepare for careers with unlimited opportunities in restauants, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, delicatessens, bakeries, clubs, and hospitals.
- Interior Design: Students pursuing Interior Design take Elements of Design. In this class students study in-depth knowledge and skills neededby professional interior designers.
- Fashion Merchandising: Students pursuing Fashion Design take Fashion, Textiles, Apparel. In this class students learn the necessary skills to pursue a career in textiles, merchandising, and garment construction.
Acadmey Expectations:
- Students in the HERO Academy will be enrolled in academically specific courses to suit each student's post secondary needs including A-G coursework or high school grad requirements.
- Along with the student's core classes, HERO students are required to take two HERO electives within their four years.
- HERO Electives are offered in Culinary Arts, Fashion, and Interior Design in both beginning and advanced levels, including ROP (Regional Occupational Program).
