ATM (Applied Technology Magnet)
The ATM program is a high tech program designed for students to increase their skills in technology, as well as academics. The ATM program has both a professional (university bound) and technical pathway in order to accommodate various ability levels and needs. Students must have an interest in computer and/or technology electives. Students may only enter the program in their freshman year, with average reading ability, and an interest in computer/technology. Priority is given to students continuing in the program from middle school.

MERIT SCHOLARS
The Lakewood High School Merit Scholars program provides a university pathway for gifted, talented, and motivated students. The program offers a rigorous curriculum that challenges students to think critically, to express ideas clearly and to develop precision in academic research and quantitative analysis. Merit Scholars must be committed to academic achievement in an intensive and competitive environment.

PALMS (Personal Achievement through Leadership, Merit and Service)
The mission of PALMS is to enhance and encourage each student’s character and academic strengths in order to best fulfill university and employment plans after high school graduation. Professions that require working with the public also require those qualities in the PALMS name: Leadership for initiating and innovating ideas; Merit to demonstrate high quality academic thought and solid integrity and citizenship; and, Service, the giving of one’s talents to enhance and encourage the achievement of others.

TCB Scholars (Trade Commerce and Business Scholars)
TCB Scholars is an academy whose focus is making a difference in the world. Although it is geared to business related fields, TCB prepares the students to invest their knowledge of the world in classroom studies and rigorous courses that prepare the students for the “real world” and higher education. Students in the program will also communicate with other students around the world in order to be globally conscious. TCB offers global awareness experiences, business preparation, and a curriculum that meets “A-G” college requirements which include: Core Academic Courses, The Arts, AP classes, ROPPrograms, Athletics and AVID.

The Arts Academy
The ARTSAcademyat LakewoodHigh Schoolis a place for students with a desire for inspiration and self-expression to explore the creativity in the world around them. Students in the ARTSAcademyare given the opportunity to discover their artistic voice, develop the expression of their artistic voice, and direction to life long success.At the center of the ARTSAcademyare five key electives designed to help creative teens develop communication skills using their voice, body, and imagination. All members of the ARTSAcademywill be expected to complete these five required ARTS electives:
- Performing Arts: Dance or Theater
- Fine Arts: Drawing Painting
- Music: Exploring Music, Concert Choir, or Guitar
- Liberal Arts: Creative Writing
- Visual Arts: New Media
