Lakewood High School Male Academy students will participate in a program which is designed to empower students to excel academically and socially in high school, as they successfully progress towards graduation and college and post-secondary options (adopted from LBUSD Male Academy).

Mission Statement

The mission of the Lancer PAC is to improve the graduation rate of underrepresented promising male students and to encourage lifelong learning by preparing them for college and career options. The program also seeks to address the physical, social, and emotional needs they face.

Meetings will convene on various Monday lunches in the auditorium classroom.  At these meetings, we will review the curriculum from the “Why Try Journal” and plan social activities/field trips.  Wednesdays will be our "dress to impress" days.  These days will be designed to recruit more students for the program.  Once a quarter, I will have guest speakers come speak to the kids about careers and post-graduation choices.
