LANCER SECTION
 
 
GRAD NITE CONTRACTS – Grad Nite will be on campus at lunch this Friday to sell contracts.
 
REPORT CARD PARENT NIGHT -LHS Report Card Parent Night, Thursday, November 19 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Report Cards will not be mailed home, they must be picked up by your parents at school on Report Card Parent Conference Night.
 
PALMS ACADEMY TOY DRIVE - PALMS Academy is sponsoring a toy drive for local needy children and youth during the month of November.  Drop off a $10 unwrapped toy or gift card at the following rooms- 99, 220, 816, or 302.  Thank you for helping us help others!
 
THE LAST ACT DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY! - Seniors - You only have the December ACT with Writing test left to take for most college applications.  Go to www.actstudent.org to register for the December 12th ACT with Writing online by the deadline which is the day after tomorrow.  If you need a fee waiver, come to the Career Center tomorrow to pick one up before Friday's deadline.
 
NEXT SERVICE LEARNING DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 13TH - All late-September and October volunteer hours are due to the Career Center by Friday, November 13th.   See the Service Learning page on School Loop (under Student Activities) for more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
 
PROJECT SHEPHERD –  Need hours? For each bag of can foods you bring in from November 2nd - December 1st you will receive 1 hour of community service. Please help support Project Shepherd.

ONE WORLD CLUB – Interested in humanitarian work? Want to be the change in the world? How about learning different cultures in the world? Come join the One World Club every Wednesday at lunch in room 324.

UC SANTA BARBARA IN THE CAREERCENTER ON NOVEMBER 10TH  - Mark your calendars for our UCSB representative's visit next Tuesday, November 10th at lunch.  Find out more about the majors offered at UCSB, the UC application, tips on your personal statement, and scholarships available at UCSB.
 
CAL STATE APPLICATION IS OPEN ONLINE - Seniors - You can start your Cal State application online.  The Cal State application is at www.csumentor.edu.  Make sure that you aim to complete and submit your CSU application by November 8th.
