Never Pay Any Money to Apply For Financial Aid - Don't Use FAFSA.COM

Don't ever pay any money to apply for any type of free financial aid (scholarships, grants, work study).  In senior year (January 1st to March 2nd) you can apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Make sure you that you don't apply for financial aid at www.fafsa.com.  This is a site that charges to submit your application and has no affiliation with the federal government.

Seniors, you can get your PIN (your electronic signature for the FAFSA) at www.pin.ed.gov now.  Remember, you need one for you and one for a parent.  Remember to apply for the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov by March 2nd.

All students (grades 9-12) can search for scholarships at Fastweb (the second link below).  Once you set-up your free profile, you will be sent scholarship that are especially chosen for you.
